Colorado Adventure Guides Snowshoe Tours

Colorado Adventure Guides offers weekly snowshoe tours on Thursdays. Tours run for 3 hours and all levels are welcome! The only requirement is you are able to walk for up to 3 hours in high altitude and wear your own clothes suitable for cold weather.

Breckenridge Nordic Center

  • Self-Guided Snowshoe Adventure - Navigate the clearly marked trails that start out just behind the lodge from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
  • Guided Snowshoe Adventures - are also available and include water, hot cocoa, and an incredible history of Breckenridge and the surrounding area.  Each guide will give you a unique interpretive experience with information on the local ecology and history of Summit County, Colorado. These adventures are more than just a snowshoe hike – they’re an experience to be enjoyed from beginning to end.
  • Guided Group Snowshoe Adventure Tours are scheduled daily at 10:30 AM & 12:30 PM. These snowshoe tours last 1 and 1/2 hours and will be a maximum group size of 7. These tours will traverse the Cucumber Gulch Preserve and are a great way to meet new people and maybe find a snowshoe buddy for another day.
