High Altitude Information

You may notice some strange things happening to you when at a higher elevation.  Some people experience minimal symptoms of altitude sickness such as headaches, strange dreams, trouble sleeping, and shortness of breath.  Try combating these symptoms by drinking a lot of water (8 or more cups a day), taking over the counter medication for headache (please consult your doctor), and avoiding caffeine and/or alochol.  Oxygen will help many of these and other symptoms and enable you to emjoy your trip.  You can purchase oxygen from various companies or local stores, or you can visit HighCountryHealth.com to find more information on how they can assist you with getting oxygen.
