The Copper Mtn. Resort is a great place to visit if you are looking for a Colorado getaway. This mountain vacation area set in the Arapaho National Forest features several amenities including shopping within walking distance from the bottom of the mountain, and at only 75 miles from Denver Colorado, lodging is easy to find in or around the area. 

 Skiing, snow boarding, hiking, bicycling, spas and fishing, among several other attractions, make this the perfect place to take your Colorado vacation. With over 2,400 acres of land there will not be a slow moment in your escapade to this mountain paradise, unless of course that is what you are looking for, in which case, relax at the spa, go shopping in the village or just lounge around in your rental cabin .

The area around Copper Mountain was first inhabited by the Ute and Arapaho Native Americans who called this lush, high mountain forest home. It was later discovered by miners who named it after the mineral most common to the area. They were followed by loggers, and fur traders. Later, in 1971 it was founded as a ski resort. Since then it has become an increasingly popular tourist spot.

Chubs 970.262.2482 Serving crepes, sandwiches, and ice cream. The perfect spot to treat yourself and enjoy the festivities on the lake. Open Weekdays 11am-6pm; Weekends 11am-8pm.

Endo's Adrenaline Cafe Located in the center villageof Copper, at the base of the Eagle Lift, Endo's offers a casual dining experience featuring Endo's Mondo nachos, delicious salads, Angus burgers, a turkey melt,and daily soups. Open daily 10:30-close.

Incline Bar & Grill 970.968.0200 An eclecticAmerican grill featuring rotisserie, barbeque, salads, sandwiches, fajitas and kids menu. Serving lunch, apres,and dinner. Locatedin the Mill Club at Copper. Open Daily 11am-close; hours vary by season.

  • What airport do I fly into?

Denver International Airport is approximately 90 miles away.  Eagle County Regional Airport is a smaller option approximately 45 miles away.

  • Is there a shuttle service from the airports?

Yes, Colorado Mountain Express.

  • Are linens, towels, blankets and pillows provided at the unit?

Yes, all linens such as sheets, pillows, winter blankets, and comforters are provdied for each bed. A flat sheet, pillows, and blanket are provided for the sofa sleeper as well. Bathrooms are stocked with no less than one bath towel, washcloth and hand towel per person that the unit sleeps. More towels may be provided dependant upon the number of bathrooms.

  • Is daily or mid-week housekeeping provided?

Upon request, Colorado Rocky Mountain Resorts will provide daily or mid-week housekeeping. Please contact us prior to your arrival to arrange and receive pricing, which is dependant upon the size of the unit.

  • Is there a full kitchen and what is provided in the kitchen?

All of our properties have fully equipped kitchens, please keep in mind that each property is individually owned and stocked by each owner, so utensils and kitchen items may vary. You will have all the basics including cookware, utensils, table settings and common appliances such as stove, oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster and coffee maker (coffee filters and coffee not provided).

  • Are any of the units pet friendly?

No, currently Colorado Rocky Mountain Resorts does NOT have any pet friendly units available for rental. There will be immediate eviction with no refund if a pet is found at your rental unit or on the rental premises, as well as a non-refundable minimum $500 cleaning fee to launder linens, carpets, etc. No exceptions!  Please leave Fido at home.

COPPER CREEK GOLF COURSE

Anticipated to open June 19, 2010 and close October 4, 2010.  Tee times are available every 10 minutes from 8:00AM-5:00PM; subject to weather and course conditions.

The Ten Mile Range views provide the perfect backdrop for an amazing day of golfing at the Highest Championship Golf Course in America. Designed by Pete and Perry Dye, Copper Creek Golf Course accomodates the novice golfer all the way to the accomplished golfer with numerous lakes and streams, towering pine trees, and natural alipne terrain.

COPPER MOUNTAIN RACQUET AND ATHLETIC CLUB

The club features a 25 yard pool, coed spa and locker rooms spas, saunas and steam rooms. The weight room features free weights and Cybex equipment. The Cardio Center offers sationary bikes, treadmills, a rowing machine, stair climbers,and elliptical trainers. FREE COPPER MOUNTAIN ACTIVITIES

  • Free Snowcat Access: Copper's FREE Tucker Mountain Access runs from 10am - 1:30pm on Saturday and Sunday during the winter season.  Tucker Mountain closes at 2pm andis open for hiking Monday through Friday.
  • Kid's Night Out: Sponsored by Copper Mountain Chamber of Commerce, Kid's Night Outis FREE childcare service offered to parents on the condition that $30 per child is spent in any commercial outlet at the resort during the hours that your children are inthe program. Open November through April only, Wednesday-Saturday's @ 5:30-10pm.  Contact 970.968.2318 for more information.
  • Kid's in the Kitchen: Every Monday and Wednesday November through April starting at 4pm.  Parents, relax the kid's are cooking tonight. Cost is $65 plus tax and gratuity, serves a family of 4.  Reservations required, contact 970.968.3112.
  • FREE Redfeather Snowshoe Tour: Enjoy the hospitality of the Resort Ambassadors as they help you discover the beauty of snow-covered meadows, pine & spruce forest and a pristine mountain seeting on one of the free, daily snowshoe tours.   Complimentary Redfeather snowshoes and poles provided.  No prior experience is necessary.  Morning (agreesive) and afternoon (family friendly) tours available 10am-3pm.  Contact 970.968.2318 ext. 45FUN for more information.
