The town of Breckenridge Colorado makes an excellent mountain vacation spot. With so many things to do here, I would consider a Colorado vacation to almost any other place around. In any season here in Breckenridge there is virtually limitless fun for the outdoor adventurer. Summer time offers many attractions, among these are; hiking, golfing, kayaking, mountain climbing, theater, and so much more. In the winter time the mountains open up for other activities like; skiing, snow boarding, ice skating and all sorts of other snow sports. There is even a recreation center with swimming, tennis and personal trainers. There are several festivals in Breckenridge including, Mardi Gras, Oktoberfest and the Budweiser International Snow Sculpturing Championships. This town tucked away in the mountains is also steeped in history. You can visit the historical mining sites here, the museum, or head over to the Breckenridge Heritage Alliance and take a one or more of the eight tours they offer. If you are looking for a place to stay here in Colorado, lodging is easy to come by with almost 500 different places to go. Tourists and snow birds can choose from hotels, motels, inns, bed and breakfasts, campgrounds or rental cabins.

- What airport do I fly into?
Denver International Airport is approximately 90 miles away. Eagle County Regional Airport is a smaller option approximately 45 miles away.
- Is there a shuttle service from the airports?
Yes, Colorado Mountain Express.
- Are linens, towels, blankets and pillows provided at the unit?
Yes, all linens such as sheets, pillows, winter blankets, and comforters are provdied for each bed. A flat sheet, pillows, and blanket are provided for the sofa sleeper as well. Bathrooms are stocked with no less than one bath towel, washcloth and hand towel per person that the unit sleeps. More towels may be provided dependant upon the number of bathrooms.
- Is daily or mid-week housekeeping provided?
Upon request, Colorado Rocky Mountain Resorts will provide daily or mid-week housekeeping. Please contact us prior to your arrival to arrange and receive pricing, which is dependant upon the size of the unit.
- Is there a full kitchen and what is provided in the kitchen?
All of our properties have fully equipped kitchens, please keep in mind that each property is individually owned and stocked by each owner, so utensils and kitchen items may vary. You will have all the basics including cookware, utensils, table settings and common appliances such as stove, oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster and coffee maker (coffee filters and coffee not provided).
- Are any of the units pet friendly?
No, currently Colorado Rocky Mountain Resorts does NOT have any pet friendly units available for rental. There will be immediate eviction with no refund if a pet is found at your rental unit or on the rental premises, as well as a non-refundable minimum $500 cleaning fee to launder linens, carpets, etc. No exceptions! Please leave Fido at home.

Peak 7
The Peak 7 terrain features great cruisers featuring wide open runs and corduroy perfection. A local secret is to ride the T-bar to the top of Peak 8 and take a long run all the way to the bottom of the Independence SuperChair.
Peak 8
The Imperial Express SuperChair, with an elevation of 12,480 feet and access to some of Colorado's steepest terrain, gives Peak 8 and The Breckenridge Ski Resort bragging rights to the highest chairlift in North America. Whether you choose to fly down Imperial Bowl, or drop off the other side into Whale's Tail, you're sure to find incredible snow with remarkable panoramic backdrop.
Peak 9
Stir it up on the steeps, dance through the bumps or enjoy a perfectly manicured green run, all on Peak 9. The lower portions of Peak 9 at the Breckenridge Ski Resort are home to some of Summit County's friendliest terrain. The Quicksilver lift accesses meticulous groomers - a great place for your beginner and intermediate turns. Don't forget to check out The Windows located just off the E-chair for some tight tree runs.
Peak 10
Amazing tree skiing, long mogul runs, perfectly groomed corduroy, and amazing views of the Upper Blue Valley are some of the features of Peak 10. Or, drop down on the south side of Peak 10 for some great steeps and hidden powder stashes throughout Mustang. If you crave speed with a lot of rollers, you'll love cruising Cimarron.

Terrain Classification
Easiest 15%
Breckenridge boasts some of the best learning terrain anywhere. Skiers and riders will find most beginner trails located off Chair 7 on Peak 8, including a portion the 3.5 mile Four O' Clock run, the longest traqil at Breckenridge, and the Quicksilver Super6 and A lifts on Peak 9.
More Difficult 33%
An intermediate's paradise, Peak 7 is home to seven new gently rolling more difficult runs, accessed by a six-passenger SuperChair. Undoubtedly the local's favorite, Claimjumper is located on Peak 8 in addition to Northstar and Crescendo. Two high-speed SuperChairs on Peak 9 access more than ten intermediate trails for non-stop skiing and riding.

Duke's Run on Peak 8 offers a winning combination of both bumps and groomed terrain. Take the T-Bar up to Pika, Ptarmigan, White Crown and Forget-Me-Not for wide-open bowls and stunning views. Peak 9's Peerless is a great place to learn how to master the bumps, while bump masters will appreciate 6-Chair, especially on a powder day. A quick ride up the Falcon SuperChair on Peak 10 wisks skiers and riders to three advanced intermediate groomers, steep and deep bump runs, and the legendary glades of The Burn.

Peak 7 offers vast steep terrain without the trees at a 45-degree pitch. On Peak 8, the experienced skier and rider can enjoy amazing alpine vistas from atop Horseshoe Bowl (lift access) or Imperial Bowl at 12,998 feet (foot access only). Hike to Lake Chutes for a 55 degree pitch (extreme terrain), between 10 and 80 feet of cornice, rocks to jump and of course, fresh tracks. Peak 9 features tree skiing at its best. The Windows is an easy hike (anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes depending on a skier or rider's speed) from the Patrol Hut atop Peak 9. The South Side of Peak 10 sports big fat bumps, hidden kickers and glades - all without seeing another soul (or at least many souls).
